A unique wedding at Victoria Baths in Manchester

Victoria Baths in Manchester is one of the most unique wedding venues in the UK, let alone Manchester. Its blend of history, character and stunning architecture makes it a truly incredible place to visit and host a wedding. Make sure you check out the beautiful green tiles when you visit and the stunning stained glass - definitely my favourite part!

A ceremony in the swimming pool

One of the most distinctive features of Victoria Baths is the location of the ceremony - it's in the historic swimming pool! I love that you can walk down the slope of the swimming pool as it changes from the shallow end to the deep end! This is where Nicola and James chose to have their ceremony. The beauty of the pool area, with its vintage tiles and unique design, added an extraordinary touch to their ceremony.

Thoughtful details and stunning decor

Every detail of Nicola and James' wedding was beautifully curated - you can tell they're such a creative couple and the little details meant a lot to them. From the unique floral arrangements at the top of the aisle in the ceremony space to the thoughtfully designed stationery on the dinner tables, it was evident that so much love and care had gone into these choices. Victoria Baths doesn't need a whole lot of decoration thanks to its unique features but the vibrant flowers and creative decor complemented the character of Victoria Baths perfectly, adding to the aesthetic.

Timeless beauty of Victoria Baths

The tiled walls, stained glass windows, and rich history of Victoria Baths make it a dream location for photography. Each corner of the venue offers a unique backdrop - you really are spoiled for choice when looking for amazing backdrops. Its charm and vintage elegance truly set it apart from other venues and it's a venue that I always feel lucky to photograph.

Why choose Victoria Baths for your wedding

If you're looking for a wedding venue in Manchester that’s full of character and offers a one-of-a-kind experience (where else can you get married in a swimming pool), Victoria Baths should be at the top of your list. Its unique atmosphere, breathtaking features and historical significance to the local area make it the perfect choice for couples who want their wedding day to stand out.
