Hi, I'm Leah
I'm a wedding photographer based in the UK and I'm always up for an adventure. My photography career has seen me travel the world including Lake Como, Belgium, Amsterdam, Paris, Malaga and Iceland. I'm a lover of detail, finding the best light and living in the moment. I'll never say no to tiramisu.
I approach wedding days with the aim of capturing what happens as it unfolds. I focus on candid moments, preferring a reportage and documentary style over lots of staged photographs. I'm here to document all the love, joy and energy of your wedding, leaving you with an elegant, stylish record of how your wedding day felt. I'm relaxed and adaptable, happy to fit in with your plans and capture the little details that make the day so personal and unique to you. My style is editorial and timeless.
As well as working with digital cameras I also photograph weddings with a variety of analogue film cameras. I love photographing with film; it sits alongside digital images perfectly and gives your full gallery a little something different.
I've been a full-time photographer for eight years with a background in fashion photography. I graduated from a Photography MA and have worked with clients across music, fashion and sport. After finding the beautiful world of weddings almost by accident I fell in love with the emotion, meaningfulness and aesthetics of each wedding day.
How do we book?
To secure the date I ask for a £500 deposit and an online contract to be signed.
How long until we receive our gallery?
I send a preview of a few images two days after your wedding. The full edited gallery will be with you in about 6-8 weeks.
Can we print the photos? Can we order an album?
I'm a huge believer in printing your wedding photos. Your photos don't deserve to sit on a computer or phone forever! Your photographs in the online gallery are high resolution and ready for printing so you can print them yourself or you can order prints via the gallery.
If you'd like an album, I have two options; a coffee table book and a lay flat luxury album with lots of cover options like velvet, linen and suede in a variety of colours. Get in touch with me to discuss further.
Do you recommend a second shooter?
Most of my weddings I photograph alone, but if you'd like both sides of the morning preparations covered and are getting ready in separate locations a second photographer is really useful. You can add this onto your package for £300.
Do you travel?
Yes! I love to travel and see new places. I've photographed weddings in Paris, Tuscany, Amsterdam, the Lake District, Scotland, Malaga and Corfu to name a few.
Can we have a chat?
Of course! It's really important to get to know each other. I'd love to hear all about your plans so feel free to get in touch and we can organise a phone/video call or a coffee in person if we're nearby.
