Harriet and Dan’s beautiful Wyresdale Park wedding

Wyresdale Park in Lancashire is one of those wedding venues that just feels magical. With its gorgeous barns, stunning countryside views, and the most beautiful spaces for both ceremonies and receptions, it’s the perfect setting for a relaxed and stylish wedding. I also love that it's so close to Manchester and also the Lake District - such an amazing setting!

Harriet and Dan chose Wyresdale Park for their big day, and it suited them perfectly; laid-back, fun, and full of personality. From the moment I arrived, I knew it was going to be a special one!

A ceremony surrounded by stunning florals

Harriet and Dan’s ceremony took place in Wyresdale’s beautiful barn, made even more breathtaking by the incredible florals from Bluebells and Daisies. The arch at the top of the ceremony space was just stunning - full of lush blooms and soft greenery, it framed them perfectly as they exchanged their vows. It felt so intimate and romantic, yet effortless.

Why Wyresdale Park is such a special venue

If you’ve never been to Wyresdale Park, it’s a dream location for a wedding. Nestled in the Lancashire countryside in Scorton, it has that perfect mix of rustic charm and elegance. The barns are full of character, the grounds are stunning, and there are endless beautiful backdrops for photos. Plus, with on-site accommodation, guests can really make a weekend of it! I love that the venue is so relaxed - you can really make it your own.

I especially love how Wyresdale offers so many different spaces from the ceremony barn to the reception area and even the lake. It means every wedding here feels unique, and Harriet and Dan truly made the venue their own.

A relaxed, fun-filled celebration

After their heartfelt ceremony, Harriet and Dan spent the afternoon enjoying drinks (especially cocktails!) and celebrating with their guests. They were such a fun couple to be around - so relaxed and just enjoying every second of their day. We took some portraits around the stunning grounds (honestly, I could shoot here all day!), before heading into the barn for speeches, food, and dancing.

As the sun set over the Lancashire countryside, the barn was glowing with candles, and that amazing party atmosphere. Watching Harriet and Dan laughing and dancing with their favourite people was such a joy. Wyresdale Park is such a special venue, and every wedding I photograph here makes me love it even more.
